The government’s announcement, in response to the coronavirus pandemic, that schools must close to all except the children of key workers, saw many independent schools and colleges in urgent need of robust remote learning platforms – Colfe’s School included.
Existing remote learning systems used for setting tasks and submitting work just could not cope with the huge increase in usage caused by the majority of pupils being at home. The School needed help to facilitate live lessons which pupils could access and interact with in real time.
The team at RivaNET helped guide the School’s fast-adoption strategy, then worked to configure Microsoft Teams and deliver essential training to staff within days.
User guides, one-on-one support and helpdesk services were also provided to help teachers and pupils get up and running as quickly as possible, so that Colfe’s School’s strategy to continue to provide outstanding education services to all of their pupils all of the time could be realised.
